Flower Field

We went to the Flower Field in Carlsbad with my cousin, Richelle, on Monday to let the kids run around and look at all the colors of the flowers! The day was so much fun and the weather was amazing. I have never been and the Giant Ranunculus were so pretty in person and so bright. If you have the time before they close you really should make a trip out there. They close May 8th. When you go to the very top you can see the ocean and a cute little windmill. Addie loved the windmill. We let the kids play in the little playground.

A Unicorn Birthday

The girls had such a fun time at their birthday party. Addie's birthday is in April and Avery's birthday is in May. So I always combine them to make it a little easier!
We went with a Unicorn/greenery theme. With pastel colors. The girls love to paint so for the kid activity we did water coloring and they drew unicorns. For the desserts we of course did doughnuts since the girls love them. We also did unicorn cookies, Nothing Bundt Cake bundtinis(that are amazing) and birthday cake. We also had a cotton candy machine running and I think each kid had 4 each! Whoops. Sorry parents. But it made the pictures so cute and who doesn't love cotton candy and doughnuts and cookies and marshmallows!!! Both girls had such a fun time and loved having everyone all in one place! It may had been a little crazy at times with 10 kids running around but to see the girls so happy was well worth it!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Addie and Avery! Mama and Dada love you both so much!
Now stop growing up so fast!

LA Zoo

The Zoo was so much fun. We wanted to surprise the girls with going somewhere fun this weekend and the Zoo was a perfect idea. We got to have lunch by the giraffes. The turtles were Addie's favorite and she didn't want to leave.
There were so many hills and a lot of walking but we got to see almost everything in 3 hours. It was the perfect amount of time.
I love that the girls love animals just like Jeff and I! It's so cute to see them get excited to see the baby animals. Avery really wanted to see a duck! She didn't see one but she got to see a baby giraffe, baby hippo and a baby otter.
We can't wait to take them to many other zoos to grow their love for animals!
