this is lake minnawanka. this is where we saw the bear! it was pretty amazing here and one of our favorites.
i wish these photos would do it justice. but they just doesn't.
this was about a mile easy hike. we got to walk around the lake and end at a bridge that went across the river that went into the lake. that is where we stopped since that it where we saw the bear! this was such a fun hike and so much to see. i would defiantly put this hike on your list of things to do while in banff. just bring bear spray!! they have these little booklets for the kids to go through while on the hike. like check off what they see and so much more. make sure to always check out the little easy ups with rangers in them. that is where you get the booklets for the kids.
