this is lake minnawanka. this is where we saw the bear! it was pretty amazing here and one of our favorites.

CANADA stanley park vancouver

vancouver was pretty amazing! i loved stanley park! it was so green, so many trees right by the ocean, geese and bald eagles! our girls loved running around and picking all the dandelions! it was so fun seeing them in nature and learning about all the different trees and flowers and so much more!

The Getty

I've only visited The Getty once and since then I've been wanting to go back! Since it is a Thursday I thought I would dig through some old pictures and do a post about going there with 2 small kids with my ergo carrier. 

Adelynn + Aveyr's Moana Birthday Party

The girls birthdays are one month apart so I always try to combine them. Addie really wanted a Moana birthday party ever since she saw the movie. Avery really wanted a Peppa Pig one but I couldn't(didn't) want to have two themes, I told Avery that Pua from Moana is a pig just like Peppa. So she was excited for a Moana Party too hehe. Plus she does really like Moana. So it worked out.

Fall, Halloween, pumpkins and JORD watch review

Did you know Fall is my favorite season! It brings cold air, jackets, boots and pumpkins! Halloween was actually cold for us and I wasn't prepared! haha. Jeff and I both forgot jackets and I didn't bring a blanket for the girls while we were at a church event. But it was COLD!! Yay. haha! Halloween isn't very big for us so i always let the girls pick out whatever they want. This year Avery wanted to be Minnie Mouse and Addie wanted to be Pocahontas!

Cooking with the girls is fun. They want to pour everything, crack the eggs and stir everything. I am trying to make it a point to let the girls cook with me more. Sometimes it's easier to just do everything myself but I know it's good to let them in the kitchen and get their tiny hands "dirty" and cook/bake. Making the memories that will last and the girls can look back on and remember is most important.  Don't let their memories be you nagging at them but let those memories count. Let them know you love them. Let them know you want to have fun to. Sometimes that is hard. At least for me. But when I love seeing the girls faces when I say "ok who wants to crack the egg?". They light up and are so excited that they actually get to stir or pour or hold the spoon!

I chose something easy to bake so the kids could really get involved. They poured the mix in, cracked the eggs and poured the oil in. They may even had a little taste of the batter!

Minted Method Shop is a shop that sells other clothing brands. They have super cute clothing. Dresses, rompers, tops, leggings, blankets and more. I just read that Geo Fox Apparel is coming soon. They have super cute things and the owner is a sweetheart. Anyways ha. This shop has it all. Check them out here. 

The dress Addie is wearing is from dudesndolls and is the marble twirl dress. Addie did twirl in this dress and she loved wearing it. The back is longer than the front and makes it super adorable.
